webapp.io is part of the first-ever remote Y-Combinator batch

We're excited to announce that webapp.io is participating in Y Combinator's summer class of 2020.

Twice a year, the Silicon Valley based firm funds category-defining ventures and provides them world-class mentorship. Notable alumni include Dropbox, PagerDuty, AirBnB, and Stripe, to name a few.

The summer 2020 batch went fully remote this year and we still found it to be an invaluable experience. From office hours with the co-founder of Twitch, to exclusive access to an extensive network of founders, Y Combinator provided value every step of the way. Thank you to the YC team and our group partners for making this an experience of a lifetime.

The motto at YC is to "build something people want". We originally created webapp.io to solve our own problems in software development, but were excited to see early on that we were helping other software and software-enabled companies too.

Since entering YC we've made over 10,000 demo environments for our customers, and helped dozens of developer teams do visual code reviews. We've also built out our "tree-of-lambdas" functionality to allow our customers to run dozens of acceptance tests alongside their per-commit preview environments.
